In November, Jacqueline Goodman participated in Stanford Law School’s “Fatal Peril” Roundtable—a small, distinguished assembly of justice and legislative leaders, including Governor Newsom’s Director of Pardons, California Assembly Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, and State Senator Aisha Wahab. In addition, in the audience were chiefs of police, elected county prosecutors, and other stakeholders.
This collaborative forum developed policy recommendations for the “Fatal Peril Report,” addressing challenges faced by women who commit violent crimes after enduring intimate partner violence.
Renowned for her profound understanding of justice mechanisms, systemic flaws, and visionary humanitarian reforms, Jacqueline Goodman leveraged her expertise to advocate for a new vision of justice for all, for her clients, for women, everyone throughout the state.
